Teaching Partnership Awards for Students

The University’s Teaching Partnership Awards celebrate excellent contributions by students who teach and/or significantly enhance the learning experience of their peers. The award recognises students as partners in their own learning and as our partners in improving our broader learning and teaching culture.

    • Are you a student who teaches in your department?
    • Have you led or played a significant part in an initiative that has developed the abilities or knowledge of other students?
    • Have you supported or led curriculum enhancement through the Students' Union or your Student Staff Committee?

If this sounds like you then you could have the opportunity to become a winner!

  • There are normally six awards made, with a cash prize of £200 each
  • Winners will be presented with their award at the Student Awards presentation.

Advice to Applicants from Previous Award Winners

Here is what you need to do next;

  • You should consult the guidelines below to ensure your application meets the eligibility criteria
  • You may find it helpful to ask your personal tutor, referee or other member of staff to review your application before submission
  • Don't forget to ask permission from your referees before naming them on your application
  • Remember to submit your application by the deadline
