Research Methods and Methodologies

by lbw5last modified Aug 01, 2014 11:07 AM History

As a researcher, you will consider what method(s) might be most appropriate for answering the questions you want to investigate. Whether you are trying to get the basics of statistics and how to conduct statistical tests or use a statistics software package, looking to gain experience in using software like NVivo to come to grips with your qualitative data, or learning how to design a questionnaire or survey for your research, we have resources and training programmes to help you.

Whatever your discipline, there are methodologies that criss-cross boundaries, and can provide invaluable insights, particularly when you are contemplating or already undertaking cross- or inter-disciplinary research.

Our Intrepid Researcher series is aimed at offering tasters of different methods/methodologies and include new, cutting-edge areas, as well as older, more tried and tested methods.
