Royal Visit – Viewing Points for members of the University

Click here to see a map of the campus which shows where to view the visit of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh. The red line on the map illustrates the location of barriers along the route. In the campus square outside of the David Wilson Library, spectators will be required to stand behind the barrier on the left hand side.

The visit by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh on 4th December 2008 requires every member of staff to be extra vigilant and report to University Security any suspicious activity or items that are left unattended – Telephone 252 2023.

Royal Visit - Mail Deliveries on Thursday 4 December

The royal visit will disrupt movement of mail about the main campus during Thursday morning as access to buildings and transport routes will be seriously restricted.

We hope to catch up with deliveries during the afternoon session.

How to find the Press Office:

The Press Office is located in the Division of Corporate Affairs and Planning in the Fielding Johnson South Wing, which also houses the Peter Williams Lecture Theatre.

The Office is on the first floor, above the AVS Design Studio and Reception.
