Organising public lectures and other public events
These guidelines are designed to help staff who are organising public lectures at the University. They are generally applicable to all public events.
What, where, when
First confirm the date, time and title of lecture. Fixing these at the earliest point maximises the opportunities for publicity.
Avoid clashes
Check your event will not clash with forthcoming public events, conferences etc using this list (log-in required). You can also check the University Events Listing or contact Mike Simpson, Senior web Communications Officer mjs76@le.ac.uk, who posts the What's On This Week listings on Newsblog.
Information and advice for event organisers
