This two-day Conference will provide colleagues with opportunities to:

  • share practice around teaching and learning development activities, approaches, and initiatives, and;
  • disseminate and discuss pedagogic research activities.

Conference themes

The overarching themes of the Conference are:

  • Belonging and resilience
  • Retention and progression
  • Partnership in learning

The Conference will include a mix of nano-presentations and pedagogic research presentations from colleagues across all areas of the University.

Nano-presentations are short (10 mins) and lively presentations showcasing aspects of teaching practice and/or sharing teaching approaches or initiatives being developed.

Pedagogic research presentations are longer presentations (20 mins plus 10 mins for questions) sharing findings of teaching-related research or evaluation activities.
