The way University email groups work has changed. You may need to check any rules you have set in Outlook for these email addresses.
A staff meeting is held every other Friday afternoon for an hour. You will not be able to contact the IT Service Desk during this time.
Newer versions of six programs are available to install from the Program Installer. There are two new programs you can install and two old versions of programs are being removed.
You can now access the Shared Departmental X: drive using MyFiles. You can no longer access the X: drive using https://xdrive.le.ac.uk after this move.
Following feedback from staff and students, the final list of programs has been decided for teaching in the next academic year.
Staff can now edit their Preferred First Name and Last Name, Religion and change their photo again using Employee Self-Service.
IT Services is piloting a service for supporting computers running Mac OS X with a small group of users, mostly researchers.
Microsoft have launched Student Advantage which allows students to install and use the full version of Microsoft Office whilst they study at the University.
