Video and Audio Production
What we provide
We make films for online publication to present the University's teaching, research and other activities to a global audience.
We also provide advice to staff on using recording equipment and on film-making techniques and we can put you in touch with external suppliers for work such as video editing or duplication.
What you can expect
We have a great deal of experience in producing material for teaching and for promotional purposes. We will work with you to develop your ideas, taking care to create a carefully-considered script before moving on to recording and editing. Work is recorded and edited in broadcast-standard High Definition format before being converted for online publication.
Service availability
We will work whenever and wherever necessary in making recordings. Advice is generally available during normal office hours but our availability may be limited when we are working on productions
Service charges
We charge, at a subsidised rate, for recording, editing and duplication work to cover direct costs and to contribute towards equipment costs. Customers must provide us with a University charge code.
