RCS is starting to offer a range of training courses related to Research Computing and High Performance Computing in particular. As we develop more courses slides and materials will be made available on this site. These courses can be booked through the Staff Development Skills for Professional Researchers website.

External Training Materials
HECToR - The UK National HPC facility HECToR offers a range of training courses. These courses are provided free of charge to HECToR users and UK academics whose work is covered by the remit of one of the participating research councils (EPSRC, NERC and BBSRC).
NCSA - The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, provides free web-based, self-taught, courses on a range of HPC topics including OpenMP, MPI and multi-core programming. Users need to register but access is free.
