IT Service Desk Information
The IT Service Desk offers support for all users of central IT services. You can contact the IT Service Desk to enquire about software provision, to report software or hardware problems, or to report any faulty computers in the open access areas.
Contact Options Available
Telephone / email
You can telephone us on 0116 252 2253, or send us email (ithelp@le.ac.uk). If your request is urgent then please telephone us rather than email - we cannot respond as quickly to email requests.
We are available to respond to phone calls and emails Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00. Messages received outside of these hours will be dealt with the next working day.
Self Service
You can also use our Self Service portal for requesting support online without needing to send us an email. You can use the portal to request temporary course accounts and other standard jobs.

"Drop-In" Service
If you would like to see someone in person, the "Drop-In" service for IT Support is in the Help Zone on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library (see this map if you need directions).
We are available in the Help Zone seven days a week, excepting bank holidays and some closure periods when the Library itself is not open. Between Monday and Friday we are open 9:00am to 9:00pm; Saturdays 10:00am - 4:00pm; and on Sundays 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
If you would like to drop off an application form instead of posting it, you can do so by visiting us in the Help Zone.
