Registering for an IT Account
You must register for your course online at https://register.le.ac.uk where you will be notified of your IT account (CFS username) and will also be asked to set a password and a security question/answer.
See our password pages for advice on the criteria which must be met.
You may only use the online registration service if you have been provided with a student ID (a 9-digit number). If you do not know your student ID, please contact your department or the Admissions office.
If you have any technical problems during the online registration process, please contact IT Services quoting the following information:
- Surname
- Date of Birth
- Student ID (9 numbers, no letters)
- Error message you are seeing
Non-Registered Students
Students visiting from other Colleges and Universities, or studying a non-standard course (Short course) at the University, should be able to register in the normal fashion. If their details are not on the central student database the department must liaise with Registry in order to create an active student record.
