Printing from a CFS Student PC

  • Print as you would from any PC.
  • At the Print dialog box choose the print queue you want to use, A4, A3, single or double-sided, black and white or colour.
  • Click the Print button to produce a print job that is held in the chosen print queue. The print job will remain in the print queue for four hours when it will be automatically deleted.
  • Use a Print Station in one of the Student PC areas to release the print job to a nearby printer.
  • Logon at the Print Station, choose your print job and click Print, then collect your printout from the printer and logoff the Print Station.

To pay for printing, every user has a Print & Copy Account that is debited when you release the print job at a Print Station.

You will only be able to release a print job if your Print & Copy Account holds sufficient credit to pay for that job. See Paying for printouts.
