Setup email on your phone/mobile device

After you upgrade to Windows 7 you may need to change some settings so that you can access your email on your phone or mobile device [e.g. iPad].

Some phones/devices will need one setting changed. Other devices will need the account to be removed from the device and then added again.

If you have not setup your phone to receive email before see the mobile section for how to do this. The only difference with moving to Windows 7 is that you will need to enter uol.le.ac.uk as the domain. These instructions assume your phone/device was connected to email before you move to Windows 7.

On your iPhone you will  need to change the domain setting from cfs to uol:

  1. On you iPhone go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  2. Under Accounts select Exchange
  3. Tap on your University IT account to edit the settings
