How messages are grouped

By default, your messages are grouped by conversation. This groups together related emails. Only the latest email in the conversation is shown in your email list, when you select that email you can see the other emails in the conversation. It can be quite confusing if you are not used to it.

If a conversation has more than one message, there will be an arrow next to it in the list view. Click the arrow to see all the messages in the conversation, including any messages you have sent.

When you click on a conversation, the entire conversation will appear in the reading pane on the right.

Turn off conversation view

  1. Click Conversations by Date
  2. Select off under Conversations
    turn off conversations
  3. Your messages will now show individually in your email list
