New students

Welcome... we hope this information helps you to get you started with the IT services at Leicester. The PCs you can use are in Student PC Areas around campus; most are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm/7:00pm and some are open 24 hours. PCs in these rooms are set-up to access the CFS service which is the Windows XP/Office 2007 central computing service managed by IT Services.

You will need your CFS username and password (provided during the University's registration procedure) to access many services. This includes the Webmail service which provides remote access to your email.

Note: If you have any IT related problems or queries see our Help and Support contact details on the right of this page.
