Breakdown of groups responding to the IT Survey 2014
In December 2014 we released the first University wide IT survey, examining student and staff attitudes to IT services, the help and training we provide, our communications and also perceptions towards the IT department in general. These results have been very insightful and will help us to improve our service in the future.

We are delighted with the number of responses we received and pleased that the student and staff community is so keen to provide us with feedback. Assistant Director of IT, Dan Lawrence

Analysis and next steps

In total 1038 staff and students contributed to the IT Survey, which included 5-point scale responses, as well as free text answers. Analysis of the results is under way and early results are generally positive.

The survey did highlight some key areas for improvement which will be reviewed by Senior Leadership and Service Owners in IT Services. Recommendations and action plans will be developed and the full results from the IT Survey will be published soon.
