The University Software Panel meets on 1 February to discuss requests for central installations of new software

Software installations on CFS: 

Departments are asked to ensure that requests for software installation on CFS is kept to a minimum due to staff commitments towards the new Windows 7 service being launched in 2012. However, in exceptional circumstances requests are being considered. Please apply as below.

Software installations on the new Windows 7 service:

Departments are asked not to apply for installation of software on this service at this time. Information regarding the procedure involved in requesting software on the new Windows 7 Service will follow in a few weeks and requests for installation will be accepted through to March 2012.

Software Request Procedure:

Software should be requested through the procedures outlined on the Software Panel page.
