MacOS Sierra upgrade available on Assured Macs

If you have an Assured Mac you can now upgrade to macOS Sierra if your machine is compatible.

The latest software upgrade for Macs is now available on University owned assured machines. It is encouraged that you upgrade when you can rather than when the software is made mandatory.

The new update will include Siri support, better security, Apple Pay and more.

Is my Mac compatible?

If your Mac is not compatible, you will not see the option to upgrade at this current time. See a list of the compatible Macs below:

How do I upgrade?

The upgrade will be available in Mac Self Service if your Mac is compatible. If your machine model is not listed above, you will not have the option to upgrade.
