Photos to be added to Employee Self-Service
If you have a University ID card, your photo on this card is due to be added to Employee Self-Service from midnight on Thursday 16 January 2014. New staff will have their photo added automatically when they request an ID card.
This change will improve security and continue the work to ensure the University has one centralised record for you, rather than separate IT systems, which may contain different information. This work is part of improvements made by the Identity management project.
If you already have a photo in Employee Self-Service, it will not be overwritten by this change, so you should not need to do anything.
My photo does not appear
Some staff do not have a University ID card, which means a photo cannot be added to Employee Self-Service for you. Also in some cases, it has not been possible to link your University card information with your staff record, so your photo may not appear. In either case, you might want to upload a photograph using Employee Self-Service.
