Important maintenance is required to the University network which began on Tuesday 14 February 2017 and will continue throughout February and March. You may notice brief interruptions to the network and wifi (e.g. access to the Internet) during 7.00am and 9.00am in University buildings on Tuesday mornings.
The University have been made aware of a phishing email telling students and staff to download Google Chrome extension OneClass which steals their usernames and passwords. This extension is not supported by Blackboard or the University of Leicester. You should not install this extension.
A staff meeting is held every other Friday afternoon for an hour. You will not be able to contact the IT Service Desk during this time.
The Student record system (including SITS, MyStudentRecord and the student timetable) and SAP (including Employee Self-Service) will be unavailable during essential system maintenance on Thursday 23 February 2017 between 6.00pm and 10.00pm.
Following an issue which is affecting staff when they attempt to make a manual lecture capture recordings, a workaround is planned. Automatic recordings should not be affected and proceed as normal.
