If you have upgraded your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11 and use the built-in Mail app, you may not be able to access University email at the moment. You can install the Microsoft Outlook app to access your University email or delay upgrading to iOS 11 for now.

Upgrade your University Mac to MacOS Sierra

If your University Mac is running OS X Yosemite (v10.10.x) you should upgrade to macOS Sierra soon as possible, as Yosemite will not be supported soon. You can use Mac Self Service to upgrade if you are on the Mac Assurance Service. macOS High Sierra is not recommended whilst testing is carried out.

Windows 10 upgrade - a better approach

Significant work has been undertaken to prepare to launch Windows 10 on Student PCs for the start of the 2017-18 academic year. Now this has been completed we believe that the effect on teaching of only providing Windows 10 to students (and not to staff) at this stage will be greater than originally expected.
