Governance
How the HPC services are governed
ALICE and SPECTRE fall within the remit of the Research Computing Management Group (RCMG). This committee was established in 2010 to oversee all IT services for research. For the HPC services, RCMG will:
- monitor the way the service is used
- set scheduling policies
- agree major changes to the service which impact users
- promote the service
- develop policy and strategy making recommendations to the Research Policy Committee
The Management Group will be supported by a larger Research Computing Technical Advisory Group.
