How decisions are made - IT Governance
IT Services has a three layered decision making model to ensure that it develops services that align well with the University's needs.

- At the top is the Information and Communications Technology Committee, chaired by the Pro Vice Chancellor (PVC) for IT, Professor Martin Barstow, which approves the overall strategic direction and policy
- The IT Portfolio Board (ITPB) sits in the middle layer and implements the strategy by approving and directing projects
- A number of IT Service Management Groups monitor the services delivered day to day in each area.
