Work affecting central corporate information systems - 5:00pm 4 March
We need to carry out work which will affect the availability of most of the central corporate information services between 5:00pm and 6:15pm on Thursday 4 March.
CWIS available in 'read-only' mode 8:00am - 9:00am 16 March
The CWIS will be in read-only mode from 8.00am until 9.00am on Tuesday 16 March whilst we replace one of the servers which supports the University website.
Many central IT services unavailable, 6:30pm 18 March
Every month Microsoft release important security updates and we now need to apply these patches to our services. Whilst we carry out this work, many central IT services will not be available for use.
Brief disruption to Staff Printing Service - 17 March
There will be a number of brief interruptions, up to 15 minutes at a time on each of the Printservers for staff printing services whilst we carry out important maintenance work.
New version of Adobe Acrobat Reader - 24 March 2010
We need to install a new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on Staff and Student PCs. For most users, this will take effect when they start their computer on Wednesday 24 March.
SAP unavailable - weekend of 5 March
Important maintenance work will mean that the SAP service, including Lucre, will be unavailable over the weekend of 5 March.
Student Records System unavailable 7.00am - 8:00am 16 March
The Student Records System will be unavailable for whilst we apply an important update to the application.
