- SITS unavailable - Tuesday 9 February 9am
- Next Tuesday, IT Services will be performing an upgrade to the Student Records Service (SITS). This will start at 9am and take most of the day. Whilst this work takes place, SITS and related applications (e-Vision, online registration and applications) will be unavailable.
- Old version of 'NX' being withdrawn - 8 February
- An older version of the 'NX' application (3.3.0-6), used to connect to ULTRA and similar services, is being withdrawn. A newer replacement version (3.4.0-5) is already available for use.
- Brief disruption to email services - 23 and 25 February
- There will be two further brief interruptions to the email service next Tuesday and Thursday (at 11am and 1pm), whilst we carry out important maintenance work.

- There will be two brief interruptions to the email service for approximately one third of users next Thursday (at 11am and 1pm), whilst we carry out important maintenance work.
- Work affecting the email service during February 2010
- We need to apply an important update to the University email (Microsoft Exchange) service during February. Disruption is being kept to a minimum but there will be a limited number of short (few minutes) disruptions on the 18, 23 and 25 of February.
- Many central IT services unavailable, 6:30pm 25 February
- Every month Microsoft release important security updates and we now need to apply these patches to our services. Whilst we carry out this work, many central IT services will not be available for use.
- Programs opened using 'CFS Software 2' unavailable - 16 February
- Between 7:30am and 8:30am on Tuesday 16 February, programs opened from 'CFS Software 2' on the Start Menu will be unavailable while we carry out essential maintenance work.
- Update of Acrobat Reader - Tuesday 2 February
- An updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (9.3) will be released to both staff and student PCs on campus, replacing the current version (9.2).
- Problem affecting University Website / Plone - RESOLVED
- We have now resolved the issue affecting access to parts of the University website, effective 2:30pm 26 February.
- Windows XP update that will affect you
- IT Services need to install an update to Windows XP, called Service Pack 3, onto all staff PCs.
