On 19 December 2013 between 7.30am - 8.30am many programs and corporate systems will be unavailable whilst maintenance is carried out. However, Blackboard, University email, Login to University PCs and access to files will not be affected.
With mobile phones now being commonplace University desk phones should not be used for personal calls, except in an emergency or in unforeseen circumstances.

Turnitin have made some changes to how assignments are submitted. Some of the new methods will not work on a University computer.
Staff and Postgraduate researchers' email is being upgraded and progressing well. The final group (previously Weekend 1) will be upgraded during the weekend of 7-8 December 2013.
An important update needs to be applied to the digital phone system on Tuesday 10 December. At this time you will not be able to make or receive calls to a digital desk phone.
Blackboard will be upgraded to a new Service Pack between 15 and 17 December 2013 and will be unavailable during some of this time.
188 card readers have been installed on staff Smart Printers. This means you’ll be able to use your University ID card to login, instead of the touchscreen keyboard.
