Calendar and Tasks
Blackboard has a Calendar and Tasks to help people manage their time.

Instructors can use the course site calendar to remind people of important events, for example assignment due dates and exams. There is also a personal calendar for individual use - Tasks
You can use tasks to keep track of work that must be done. People can create individual tasks for themselves. Instructors can also create tasks for all students on their course sites or for groups of students. Administrators may create tasks for all Blackboard users
