Sticky Notes

You can have virtual sticky notes on your desktop. Sticky notes can change both in colour and size .

To open sticky notes:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sticky Notes

Snipping Tool

The Snipping Tool allows you to capture a screenshot of any object on your screen, or the entire screen and save it as an image.

Calculator

The calculator has a number of features, such as scientific, programmer and statistics mode. It also has measurement and date conversion.

To open the calculator:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Calculator

Gadgets

Gadgets include slideshows, weather information and news and updates and they can be placed anywhere on your desktop .

Gadgets downloaded from the Windows website will not be compatible with your computer.

To add gadgets:

1. Right click on your desktop
2. Choose Gadgets
3. Double click to choose a gadget
