Rules

Rules can be used to deal with messages automatically. Some examples of where rules can be useful are:

  • You’ve sent an email with the subject “Christmas Party at the Belmont” to a large group of people, create a rule to move any messages with that subject to your Christmas Party folder
  • Your line manager would like to see any emails sent to you by Professor Morrison, create a rule to forward any messages from her to your manager.
