This tour is intended as an optional trip for the Study Abroad & Erasmus Orientation Programme.
This winter we are offering an optional daytrip on the final day of the Study Abroad & Erasmus Orientation Programme. The Harry Potter Studio Tour provides an amazing opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films - the most successful film series of all time. This tour takes you behind the scenes and reveals some secrets.

This tour is held before the Orientation Programme and is a great opportunity to see the capital city and make friends before classes begin. The tour will include coach transportation to Leicester halls so there is no need to book a place on the Airport Bus Service.
Three days in London that pack in the top sites and give you a chance to explore, so you will feel like a local in no time. After arrivals at Heathrow Airport, you will visit the Tower of London and see the Crown Jewels. We also enjoy a cruise down the Thames, starting at the world famous Tower Bridge and finishing at Westminster for views of the London Eye and Parliament. You will also see Buckingham Palace, Parliament Square, Whitehall and the Horseguards. We will also tour Westminster Abbey, the British Museum, the Globe Theatre & Shakespeare's London, and Borough Market.

York (or Jorvik to the Vikings) is famous for Romans, Vikings, and the Yorkshire pudding. We will visit the York Minster church where Constantine the Great was proclaimed Emperor of Rome. You will also be able to view the ongoing restoration of the original stained glass Great East Window. Inside the ancient city walls, you will have the chance to explore the 'snickleways' that lead to the many tea rooms, chocolate shops, medieval alehouses, National Museums, and the cobbled streets of The Shambles. Every corner holds another perfect photograph.

Welcome to dramatic Wales - land of the Red Dragon and incredible mountain scenery. Start your tour at Llangollen on the border between England and Wales, a short canal-side walk takes you to breathtaking views of the valley below. After a scenic drive through Snowdonia National Park, the tour will join a steam railway towards Blaneau Ffestinoig, the previous capital of Wales. We will go through the caverns of Llechwedd Slate Mine, and spend the night near Betws-y-Coed. In the morning you can choose to walk among waterfalls, or for a supplement go horse riding or try archery. From there we will head to Llanfair-pwllgwyngyllgogery-chwyrndrobwllllantysilio-gogogoch (Llanfair PG), the longed named village in Britain! There will be a shopping stop at James Pringle Weavers before heading to Conwy Castle, part of the 'iron ring' of castles built by King Edward the first.

Visit the enigmatic Stonehenge, where your guide will separate fact from fiction and myth from reality as you gaze upon these magnificent stones. Magic, mysticism, and even the legend of King Arthur all form part of the story of thi smagical place, a 5,000 year old World Heritage Site. From there we travel to Salisbury, home to one of Britain's most beautiful cathedrals. The cathedral's spire is the highest in England and in the chapter house you will see one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta.

Cancellation by The Group Organiser
If the whole tour is cancelled by you, the Group Organiser, all deposits will be retained by Proscenium and we reserve the right to make cancellation charges as shown below in Sections A, B and C. Cancellation charges will depend on the date when written notice of cancellation is received by us.
You must inform us in writing as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a tour or other booking in whole or in part, returning to us any tickets already issued. On cancellation, we will charge you a percentage of the total price as follows per person cancelled:
