Enjoy a cruise down the Thames, see the Tower Bridge, and take a walking tour of Westminster, viewing the London Eye and Houses of Parliament.

In the afternoon, discover treasures such as the Rosetta Stone, Parthenon Marbles, and Egyptian mummies at the British Museum. In the evening, a thrilling Jack the Ripper ghost walk challenges you to solve the mystery that has baffled thousands.

Day Three: Explore Southwark, Shakespeare's neighbourhood and the home of entertainment during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. At lunchtime students are spoilt for choice at one of the most delicious locations in the UK, Borough Market. You will then be transported by private coach to University of Leicester halls of accommodation.

Stonehenge spring 2017

Stonehenge & Salisbury Cathedral

Date: 14 October 2017

Cost: £72 (includes transportation, guide, and entrance fees)

Visit the enigmatic Stonehenge, where your guide will separate fact from fiction, and myth from reality as you gaze upon these mysterious stones. Magic, mysticism, and even the legend of King Arthur, all form part of the story of this  magical place, a 5,000 year old World Heritage Site. From there we travel to Salisbury, home to one of Britain's most beautiful cathedrals. Its sublime spire is the highest in England and in its chapter house you will see one of the four original surviving copies of the Magna Carta.

This tour includes private coach transportation, Blue Badge Guide, and entrance fees to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral.

Edinburgh tour

Edinburgh Weekend

Enjoy a walking tour of the Royal Mile and other Scottish gems with your local guide. In the evening, travel to the underground vaults for a ghostly tour of one of Britain's most haunted cities.

Day Two: On Sunday, visit Edinburgh Castle, a medieval fortress built upon the site of an extinct volcano, and enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, there will be free time and students can choose to climb Arthur's seat hill, go to the Scottish Whiskey Experience, or have tea in the cafe where JK Rowling began the Harry Potter books.
