Blood tests and test results

BLOOD TESTS

The taking of blood samples for blood tests is done every morning, Monday to Friday.  You will be referred to this session by one of our GPs or practice nurses and you will need to make an appointment at reception.

 

TEST RESULTS

Most test results will be back in 5 working days, you can obtain the results by asking at reception or telephone the health centre during the afternoon, to avoid the queue.  If we need to discuss the results with you we will send a letter to the address we hold for you.  Please do not ignore such letters.

Wheelchair Users

The consulting room doors are quite narrow and do not allow entry with some wheelchairs.

There are steep steps to a small number of consulting rooms. When booking an appointment please ask to see someone in a room before the steps.

The nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is in the student counselling building, next door to the health centre. Please be aware that this building is sometimes closed and unavailable.
