Minor Works and Refurbishments

These items are generally funded from College or departmental funds; examples might include redecorating and refurbishing an area in preparation for change of use.

Departments should first discuss any building or works projects within the College to ensure that they fit in with College plans.   Requests for all new projects, including those that are departmentally funded, should be approved by the Head of College and be sent to the Deputy Director of Estates (Property Services), Grant Charman.

Please note that the costings for furnishings and fittings will not be included in any small works projects. Departments should consider their furnishing needs when costing any new works.  Queries regarding furniture, carpeting, signage, blinds or curtains should be directed to Interior Solutions.
