Fuel Management
What we do?
The University Estates Division manage and issue fuel cards for University vehicles. They also log and report on CO2 emissions from the University fleet of vehicles. Vehicle fuel is managed by the Facilities Support Office (Ext 2599)
Fuel Purchasing Cards
University vehicles are issued with a fuel card for purchase of fuels, oils and lubricants only. Currently this card is provided by either Total or Shell and permits the vehicle to fill up at the following service stations:

EUROSHELL CARD |
TOTAL CARD |

Invoicing of Fuel
Estates plan to change all cards over to Total Cards and from then each month a centralised fuel bill will be received by the University and each department will be re-charged their fuel consumption for the cards they hold. This fuel consumption is also used by the Environment Team to calculate the annual CO2 emssions for the Universty's vehicle fleet.
In an emergency fuel can be purchased with cash and claimed back on expenses in accordance with Financial Regulations. Fuel cards are not to be used for refuelling vehicles other than those shown on the card details.
