Path Closed Behind Physics Building from 7 May 2013 - Update 16 May

The path behind the physics building and the steps entrance to the park and the parkside of the Bennett Building are closed to enable landscaping works to take place.   The areas closed are marked in red on the map.  The works are a follow up to the digging works to lay the HV cables.  This necessary relandscaping of the area has been delayed by recent inclement weather and the path will remain closed until the works can be completed.  No noisy works will take place during the examination period.

Replacement of CHP Unit in MSB - Update

The replacement of the CHP unit by Leicester District Energy in the Medical Sciences Building boiler room is now completed. Works are ongoing to the units and to the flues and the area will remainl cordoned off until these are completed.  Staff with concerns relating to the works should contact Steve Parker, Special Projects Manager. t:5682 - e:sp423
