The University of Leicester Estate
The University of Leicester has a large Estate mainly located in the city of Leicester and the borough of Oadby and Wigston. The Estate has 309 buildings and the grounds cover 68 hectares. Further information about the Estate is available on our facts and figures page.
The University is committed to improving and enhancing the quality of the Estate and will continue to invest in its buildings and infrastructure in line with its strategic objective to 'create world changing research and high quality, inspirational teaching'.

Permits to Work are required for all work undertaken in potentially hazardous areas, please see our Permit to Work Procedure. Contractors should ensure that they are issued with work permits by their University of Leicester contact before undertaking any works in the areas defined below.
