A year after the University launched its commitment to cut carbon emissions by 60% by 2020; we are celebrating Big Green Week and our achievements over the last year with an exhibition on the 3rd floor of the David Wilson Library.

Since BGW 2010:

• we have signed up a further 450 student volunteers
• we now have 18 Green Impact teams
• carbon emissions have been reduced by 5% already on Central Campus.

There’s still a lot to do so please support your Department’s Green Impact team, or set one up if you don't have one  and don’t forget to turn your monitor and lights off when you’re not going to be in the room for a while.
