Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2010

The University's Environmental Sustainability Strategy was agreed by the Environmental Management Working Group in September 2009. The attached version of the strategy has been refined since and gives the University's strategic aims for the next five years that cover the following key areas:

1. Carbon Reduction

2. Research

3. Teaching and Learning

4. The Environmental Impact of the Estate

The Environment Team are leading on strategic Aims 1 and 4 and greater detail on each area can be seen by clicking on the links.

The strategy will be subject to an annual review which will be publically reported. This will measure the University's progress against targets and objectives set out within the four different areas of the strategy.
