The Charles Dickens Primary Award is sponsored by the Dickens Fellowship in collaboration with the English Association and the Charles Dickens Museum.

Successful schools will receive an award of £250.

All participating schools will receive a certificate and a free book and have their work profiled on the English Association and Dickens Fellowship websites.

This prestigious award is given to schools where children have been encouraged to enjoy Dickens’ work through a project which links regular English work with other areas of the curriculum.

The award is open to regular classes and after school clubs at Foundation stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in primary schools in the UK.

And the 2016 winners are . . .

St. Joachim's Catholic Primary, London

Park Wood Schools Federation, Kent

The prizes were awarded on 25 January 2017 at the Charles Dickens Museum in London.
