Virtual Self Access Centre

VSACThe Virtual Self Access Centre (VSAC) brings together the best English Language study resources from around the internet, helping you find useful self-study materials so that you don't have to waste time searching. Areas covered include Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Business English and Exam Preparation. The Discussion boards can help you keep in touch with other students, and new content is regularly added by staff at the ELTU.

The VSAC is available on Blackboard to all international students studying at the University of Leicester. To start using it, follow these instructions.

ELTU Lending Library

The ELTU lending library has a range of study materials which you can borrow to help improve your English at home. Areas covered include grammar, vocabulary, writing, listening,  business English, exam preparation (including IELTS and Cambridge Exams) and reading for pleasure.

All ELTU students (presessional, insessional and Erasmus / Study Abroad) may use this service. The lending library is staffed by a member of the ELTU who can help you find materials to practise and improve your English. It is located in room RH104, on the first floor of Readson House.

The library is currently open according to the timetable below.
