Course aims

TESOLThe course gives students the basic skills required to:

  • Plan a balanced, pedagogically-sound lesson
  • Teach skills (speaking, listening, reading & writing)
  • Teach new language (grammar & vocabulary)
  • Use appropriate practice activities
  • Test what students have learnt

Who is this course for? 

  • This course is open to all Erasmus and Study Abroad students for university credits.
  • Students do not need to have any previous experience of classroom teaching, however the course assumes a good level of English.

Assessment

  • Students complete 2 coursework assignments (one individual, one group)
  • Students must attend at least 70% of the lessons
