Next Course Dates:
February/March 2017- Dates To be confirmed
The aim of these sessions is to give participants an introductory idea of what Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) involves for both learners and teachers; what knowledge and skills an English Language teacher needs and whether it’s something that you would like to do in the future. The sessions will be very practical with demonstrations of techniques and methodologies as well as an opportunity to try out some of the ideas in peer teaching slots.
All staff or students at the University of Leicester are welcome to join this course.

The TESOL Taster is one of the many activities and awards recognised on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) - a nationally recognised transcript that demonstrates both your academic and extra-curricular achievements, providing future employers or further study institutions with a comprehensive record of the knowledge, skills and experience gained during your time at University. For more information on the steps you need to take to qualify for recognition, visit our website.
Please note - there is a certificate for attendance, but the TESOL Taster is not a qualification for teaching.
