Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for students at undergraduate or Master's postgraduate level who are starting a dissertation project. This workshop will focus on how to turn your research into writing while Part One will focus on the research project.

What will it cover?

  • The purpose of the main sections of a dissertation
  • Techniques to manage the process of writing a dissertation
  • The key features of effective written presentation in a dissertation
  • How to evaluate your style and strengths as a writer

 Do I need to do anything to prepare?

You are welcome to attend this workshop to help you get started on the writing. However, if you have started already, make a list of what you have written and bring your draft structure. 

  • No need to sign up in advance

  • All rooms are wheelchair accessible

  • Special requirements can be catered for (eg large print materials) click here to let us know what you need
