Who is this workshop for?

If you are an arts and social sciences student and are currently working on an essay or an assignment, consider attending this workshop to discuss any aspect of the essay writing process.

How does it work?

The participants decide which issues they would like to see covered within the session. These could include:

  • How to begin working on an essay

  • What to include in an introduction

  • How to structure an essay effectively

  • What critical analysis is and how to include it within an essay

  • How to write in an academic style

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

You might want to bring along any relevant materials, such as notes, plans or drafts that you've made, or guidance from your department.
