The staff within Learning Development are available for individual consultation. These  consultations are intended to complement the subject-specific guidance you receive from your department. To help facilitate discussion, it can be useful to bring along any module handbooks and examples of your work or notes, if appropriate. Our consultations service is also available to distance learners via telephone, email or web conference.

• Study skills consultations are available to discuss any study skills queries or concerns you may have about writing, study or presentation skills.
• Maths help consultations are available by appointment during term time to help students develop maths, stats or numeracy skills.

Appointments must be booked in advance, and can usually be provided within two weeks. All appointments are in the Careers Service, David Wilson Library.
