SU Student Leadership

The SU Leadership Award is a six month programme designed to enable students to reflect on the skills they have gained through undertaking various leadership roles across the Students Union.

Students qualify to take part in the award by being elected to a position of responsibility in any of the following position; SU council, club or society committee member or academic course representative.

How to join up

The Award will be recruiting after student elections in October and November. Please contact the Students Union for more information.

 

The aspect I particularly enjoyed about the Leicester Award was the ability to work to my own deadlines. I enjoyed making the log books and seeing how I have accomplished this. It was helpful to have a
record of all the work I have undertaken during this award. The award really helped to develop my leadership skills further.
