Why will this look good on my CV?

Employers are very keen to find graduates able to demonstrate their abilities applied to the world of work. This scheme will help you develop your career planning skills and the business awareness skills you already developed as part of your volunteering or job activity.

It will increase your confidence in interviews, as you will be better able to answer all the tricky questions about teamwork, managing different types of situations and why they should hire you!

'Our involvement with the Leicester Award for Employability Skills has proved to be an invaluable way of gaining exposure to high calibre, motivated and enthusiastic students. Students who participate in the awards benefit from meeting employers on a one-to-one basis which enables them to find out more about the career opportunities available to them - a unique opportunity for both the student and the employer.'
