How do I get started?

To take part in the award you will need to register online and attend the Volunteering Award Group Interviews. Dates of the Group Interviews will be announced at the start of term. Once you have attended the group interviews you can book onto the workshops. 

How do I enroll?

1. Please ensure that you are a member of Contact - University of Leicester Student Volunteers prior to registering. You are unable to take part in the Volunteering Award Induction unless you have registered with Contact Student Volunteers first. If you are a member of Contact already, please skip this step. If you receive weekly email bulletins from Contact, you are a member. Register with Contact - University of Leicester Student Volunteers.
2. Register online for the Volunteering Award. Please note, places on the Volunteering Award 2011/12 are full and we are no longer recruiting until September 2012.  By completing the registration form now, you will be expressing your interest on the award.  Please take a look at other Leicester Award programmes available.  Please note that you have to use your university login and provide your student number to register.
3. When you attend the first workshop you will get access to the Volunteering Award Blackboard site and tools for logging your experiences and reflect on what you are learning from your experiences.
