Community Challenges
Get Involved!
If you want to get involved in volunteering, but can't commit to a long term or regular volunteering project you may want to consider taking part in a Community Challenge. These are one-off opportunities that take place over a day or just a few hours and involve students working in a team to complete a practical challenge or activity for the benefit of the community.
What can you do?
For example, you could help to renovate a local playground, organise a games afternoon for older people or paint a mural. Taking part in a Community Challenge gives you a chance to volunteer without having to make a regular commitment and is also a great way to try volunteering for the first time. You'll always be working in a team so it's also a chance to meet new people.
