Former student is Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Suleman Sacranie, former student of the University of Leicester, is the brains behind 99pWholesaler.com.

Suleman Sacranie, former student of the University of Leicester, is the brains behind 99pWholesaler.com. He won the award "Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year" after beating five other contenders. 

At the same event, Professor Sir Robert Burgess, Vice-chancellor of the University of Leicester, received the Lifetime Contribution to Midlands Business award in recognition of his work at the institution.

The announcement of both awards took place at a ceremony in Birmingham on Feb the 3rd, 2012.

Suleman was entered into the competition via the University of Leicester- he is a former student of the University of Leicester and was supported in the process of setting up his business by our Enterprise Learning Officer Rajinder Bhuhi. Email: rkb14@le.ac.uk

He also paid tribute to the University of Leicester in the acceptance speech and Rajinder accompanied him to accept the award.
