Teaching placements available in schools

The Student Associates Scheme is funded by the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) and offers 15 day paid placements in classrooms, offering university students the chance to discover teaching. Successful applicants receive full training prior to their placement and have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure which will allow them to work closely with young people. The tax-free bursary is £600 for students completing 15 days and travel expenses are reimbursed.

To find out more about the scheme go to www.tda.gov.uk and follow the links to Get into teaching - Get teaching experience - Student Associates Scheme where you will find brief details of what the scheme entails.
