Students' Union
The Students' Union website has a job vacancies section, which advertises part-time opportunities in the Students' Union, for example, the Bars and Union shop.

Local employment agencies

Employment agencies may also have part-time vacancies. You can search on the yell.com website for contact details of recruitment agencies in the area. Examples include:

• A La Carte Recruitment (www.alacarte-recruitment.co.uk) specialise in placements in catering, food manufacturing, commercial and industrial environments.
• Select Appointments (www.select.co.uk) specialising in all areas of secretarial and administration, call and contact centre, accountancy and finance, sales and marketing, legal and medical recruitment.

Leicester Mercury/Other local newspapers

The Leicester Mercury (http://jobs.thisisleicestershire.co.uk) is a local daily newspaper which advertises job vacancies. The main job section is in Wednesday's paper. You may find part-time opportunities in here. Reference copies of the Leicester Mercury are held in the Careers Service or can be bought from local newsagents.

Local Job Centre

Other approaches
